"MAZ-SPORTAVTO" TRUCKS DEPARTED TO SOUTH AMERICA TO START "DAKAR"

The sports trucks of the MAZ-SPORTauto team have successfully passed technical checks and are ready to be loaded onto the ferry, which will sail across the Atlantic to Peru. There, on January 6, a solemn start will be given to 41 in the score of the Dakar-2019 rally-marathon.

The MAZ-SPORTauto team has been performing at international rally raids for the fifth year with the support of Gazpromneft - Lubricants. The G-Energy Racing SAE 10W-60 oil is poured into the combat engines of cars. It is capable of protecting the engines of sports trucks even in the harsh conditions of rally raids - 70% of the upcoming distance will pass in Peruvian sands.

The total length of "Dakar" in Lima will be more than 5,000 kilometers, of which 3,000 km participants will travel in combat mode.

A total of 334 combat crews from 61 countries from around the world have been announced for the race: 167 motorcycles and ATVs, 126 SUVs and buggies, and 41 trucks.
